Action links allow a user to interact with your movie. To add an action link, first click the button. This will insert a "hotspot" in the upper left-hand corner of your workspace. You can move this hotspot by clicking and dragging it with your mouse, and you can resize it by clicking and dragging the sides or corners with your mouse. There are also a number of options you can use to modify the hotspot under the Object Properties tab. You can choose a different shape from the Hot Spot Shape drop-down menu, or you can use the options in the Hot Spot Action drop-down menu to adjust what the hotspot will do when clicked by the user:

This option will make the hotspot link to another URL. By clicking the hotspot, the user's browser will be redirected to the specified page. If you select this option, a field will appear allowing you to enter the desired URL and target.

This will direct the user to a specified frame in the movie. If you select this option, a field will appear allowing you to specify the desired frame.

This will allow the user to stop the movie.

If the movie is currently stopped, pressing this will play the movie again.

This will stop the movie, but advance to the next frame.

This will stop the movie and then jump to the final frame.

This will disable sounds in your movie.

Adding this hotspot will allow the user to change the quality of the movie.
