CoffeeCup - HTML Editor, Flash & Web Design Software

Here's an easy way to add a list of family birthdays or other holidays without creating each event separately. You can also reorganize the list of holidays we've provided for easier control. This must be done while the software is NOT running.

1. Open the holidays.xml file located at C:\Program Files\CoffeeCup Software\CoffeeCup Web Calender using Notepad (or similar text editor)
2. Create a new holidaycatagory (Note the misspelling, this needs to be kept) with the desired name
3. Add new a holidaydate for each event following the same style
   • name - Name for the Event
   • date - Date of event (mm/dd)
   • recurringyearly - T/F
   • recurringmonthly - T/F
   • recurringweekly - T/F
4. Save the holidays.xml file

NOTE: You cannot use the & or "e; characters within Holiday names.

Next time you open Web Calendar, the list of Auto-Holidays will be populated with the new listing.
